Good Morning all. After a week of being very sick, I'm finally back! The calendar on the website has been updated. This week is Forms week so Wednesday at 7:30 is the day to mark on your calendar.


We'll be rolling into the Holiday season in just a few weeks, so get your classes in now. December graduation will be pretty early due to way Christmas falls this year.

Another reminder that October is Anti-Bullying Month...we teach our kids how to deal with bullies but its important for us as adults to realize just how devastating this can be for a child. Always take it seriously and always remind your child that bullies are only bullies if they give them that power.

Eleanor Roosevelt once said "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent". Don't give anyone your consent to make you feel inferior.

KFSS Graduation

KFSS Graduation is this Saturday Sept 29th at 9:30am. Doors will open at 8:30. Even if you are not receiving a belt promotion, please come out and support your fellow students. Please wear FULL uniforms.

Labor Day Weekend 9/1-9/3

Just a reminder...RKMSF will be CLOSED Labor Day weekend (Saturday AND Monday).

Master Ted back at RKMSF 8/17-8/19

Good Morning Everyone! I just wanted to let you know about some upcoming events:


Forms class this Wednesday at 7:30p.

Master Ted Sias has confirmed his visit for the weekend of August 17-19th! We'll follow a very similar program as we have during his last several visits. Private lessons on Friday afternoon, class open to all on Friday night, Saturday AM Adults, Saturday kids (all ages) and Saturday afternoon Black Belt class with private lessons to follow. Sunday morning hatha yoga! Mark your calendars! I will have sign up sheets go up in the lobby the 1st of August.

Master Ted likes to know what we would like to work on so please send me suggestions and I will pass them along. =)

Labor Day Weekend RKMSF will be closed on Saturday 9/1 and Monday 9/3.

Its summertime and we have lots of folks on vacation. We should start to see attendance pick back up on class in the next couple of weeks.

Upcoming News

I hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July.

Wanted to let everyone of a time change for forms on July 11th and 18th. The class will begin at 7:30p instead of 6:30p.

Also, Vivian Hall has been taking pictures for the last month or so of the school and of classes and has provided those to the school to post on our website. They have already been added to the website gallery (click the gallery link at the top of the page) and I'll be adding them to the albums on the facebook page later today. Viv is offering to sell copies and prints to our students and instructors. If you are interested in purchasing a copy (or copies) of any of the photos, please email me at kris@rkmartialsciences.com and I will provide the information.

Coming in August...We're waiting for confirmation from Master Ted but it looks like August 17-19th he will be back in Texas for another fun filled weekend with us! So mark your calendars!
