We're halfway through the month of January! Today is a holiday for many schools. We will be open for classes as usual.
If you're like me...January is an insanely busy month! It's important to make time to train not only your body, but your mind as well. Stress can slow the bodies ability to heal and in some cases even cause illness. Make the time to de-stress your body and your mind...come to class! Stress can also cause one to miss key indications trouble is brewing. Its important to be able to focus on your surroundings in order to be safe. This is hard to do when you're mind is focused on something else.
See you in class!

Updates Week Ending 1/9/10
It is the beginning of the new quarter. (Or rather last week was...) I think the weather kept many folks away from class, but we did have some brave souls who faced the sub-freezing temperatures to come to classes.
I'd like to encourage everyone to get your classes in early so you are not scrambling at the end of the quarter to get your classes in. KFSS Graduation will be March 27th and SNAP will be March 24th.
Its been a very cold start to winter and it will likely continue off and on for the next several months. Please make sure you keep your body flexible by warming up and stretching often.

RKMSF Open for Classes tonight
Its going to be verrrry chilly, but the roads are clear and we WILL have classes as scheduled this evening.
Update - Weather 1/7/10
The arctic front that has been predicted all week finally arrived! (And it brought a friend....how thoughtful....NOT!) Anyone who has been watching the news knows many school districts and roadways in the area are currently closed (7:25am) due to black ice conditions and frigid temperatures that are not expected to climb above freezing today.
The ice is expected to evaporate (not melt) due to the high winds by about mid morning. IF the road conditions are clear this afternoon, we will hold classes tonight. PLEASE CHECK THE WEBSITE after lunch today and before you head to the school tonight. Any updates to the website after noon may not send an email update until late tonite or in the morning. If you have any questions, please call 817-590-8585.
